We take your experience seriously

Discuss your concern with us first

Even with careful care, you may be unhappy about a treatment, explanation, planning or contact with the practice. Please raise this with your dentist or reception first. We take your concern seriously and will try to find clarity together.

A conversation often helps resolve misunderstandings, align expectations and decide what a reasonable next step could be. You can explain what felt difficult and what you need to feel comfortable again.

Written complaint

If a conversation does not resolve the issue, you can describe your complaint in writing. Briefly explain what happened, when it happened, who you spoke to and what kind of solution you hope for. Do not send unnecessary medical details by regular email; call reception if you are unsure about secure communication.

Independent information and mediation

If you would like independent information, the KNMT patient information site Alles over het Gebit explains what you can do when you are not satisfied with your dentist and how mediation may help.

If mediation is not enough

Sometimes a conversation or mediation is not enough. A formal complaints route or dispute procedure may then be relevant. Because rules, procedures and conditions can change, we refer to the current KNMT patient information and can help you find the right route.
